One Touch technology allows for the controlled expansion of virus-specific T cells and is applicable to a variety of viruses. OneTouch is used to manufacture Cytovir® ADV and RapX CMV.

The process begins with the collection of blood or peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from a matched healthy donor. The PBMCs are then cultured in the presence of cytokines and peptides with overlapping sequences of ADV (adenovirus) or CMV (cytomegalovirus) antigens, respectively.

At the end of the expansion period, the cells are washed, formulated and cryopreserved before being made ready for transportation.
